Requirements:

- Efficiency in the kitchen with attention to detail.

- Ability to safely operate various types of kitchen equipment.

- Physically capable of lifting 40 lbs or more.

- Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented retail environment.

- Positive and friendly attitude.

- Excellent verbal communication skills.

- Must have a food handler's card or be Serv Safe Certified (or equivalent).

- Fluent with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.

- Strong financial acumen.

Optional Requirements (not required):

- Managerial experience is a plus.

- Bilingual skills are a plus.

Compensation:

Hourly wage: $16.75 - $18.50 per hour

Position Duties:

- Open the store and ensure it is ready for business.

- Conduct interviews, hire and terminate employees as needed.

- Complete all paperwork associated with the hiring process.

- Provide computer training for new employees.

- Maintain ongoing training programs for new employees.

- Resolve any issues that arise and escalate to the Area Manager if necessary.

- Uphold and manage the company's core values and responsibilities.

- Handle customer complaints in a professional and appropriate manner.

- Manage food cost, labor, and work towards increasing sales.

- Respond to all Guest Satisfaction and Contact Us forms submitted online.

- Complete the Closing Checklist every night to ensure the store is ready for the next day.

- Maintain a high quality of food items.

- Uphold high standards of customer service among all employees.

- Address any scheduling issues that may arise.

- Discipline employees who have not followed company procedures and policies.

- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure high scores on health inspections.

- Responsible for creating, assigning, and ensuring completion of detailed cleanliness lists.
